PLAINTIFF'S EXHIBIT A/C Pipe Producers Association ff (rH-T-Z Board of Directors a Jackson,president FROM Internal Correspondence DATE January 26, 1983 SUBJECT AACPP Industry Statistics Annual Report - A/C Pipe Production <3c Export Shipments Commencing with calendar year 1973, AACPP's Board of Directors approved a statistical reporting program whereby each company would report to the Association confidentially their effective five-day capacity computed on an annualized basis. The Association Staff would then tabulate the data and publish annual industry capacity numbers.* In 1981, the reporting form was revised and expanded to include A/C pipe exports, i.e. gross aggregate tons. Export shipments are defined as all pipe shipments other than those presently classified and reported as domestic shipments. Attached is the approved form for reporting 1982 capacity data. The due date is February 28, 1983. Please pass along the attached reporting form to appropriate corporate personnel for completion and prompt submission. To avoid submission of incompatible capacity data, the number required is the tons of shippable (i.e., saleable) A/C pipe each reporting company is capable of producing annually, based on a three (3) shift, five (5) day operation assuming a normal product mix. The report also calls for the following information: o Actual tons of shippable (i.e., saleable) A/C pipe produced during reporting years. o Ratio of actual production of five (5) day capacity in percent, o Location of each producing plant, o Total number of producing plants, o Total number of wet machines. o Wet machine distrubtion by plant and size (i.e., maximum pij length).
