During our discussions, BLM had several questions around the budget numbers -- why they are so high for the NPRA -- and in particular what the state DGGS would be doing for $500K. They were not aware of any new permits and wondering from that perspective as well about what is planned this summer. I offered to try to put together a call so we could coordinate. It appears that Aimee is confusing NPRA and ANWR. Our field work this summer is focused mainly on ANWR (that is where the permit issue with the Refuge management, which is FWS, remains).
