I am a retired Navy Reserve officer and volunteer member of the Foundation board. The Foundation was a key supporter of legislation that became law in 1999 designating Midway as a National Memorial to the Battle of Midway. Would you be kind enough to meet with myself and Jim D'Angelo, founder and President of IMMF? Jim is a retired medical doctor and former Air Force officer. He lives in Florida but will be in DC the week of June 19. If you are willing to meet and available sometime that week, we could provide more detail on what we consider the mismanagement by Fish and Wildlife of certain historical aspects of Midway, and on IMMF's relationship with Fish and Wildlife over the years.
