Andrew Wheeler will bring extraordinary credentials to EPA that will greatly assist the Agency as we work to implement the president's agenda. Andrew Wheeler has not lobbied EPA, nor any new EPA issues since President Trump was elected, and deregistered as lobbyist in August 2017. Mr. Wheeler consults with EPA career ethics officials, and will ensure that he is recuses himself from any potential conflicts. In addition to spending four years at EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics during the George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton administrations, he also spent many years on Capitol Hill.
