In light of the claimant's request to have the April 1984 incident recognized as a new and separate claim/ I feel we should contact Dr. Fowler for additional medical information. Since this new claim involves the potential for an allowance of an aggravation of a pre-existing heart condition/ I feel Dr. Fowler should have the opportunity to review said respond to De. Starr Ford's evaluation of September 6/ 1984. I think it is vital that the doctor provide an opinion as to the relationship between the angina pectoris or heart condition and the subsequent industrial asthma. The other aspect of this matter that we would like to keep in mind is if the heart condition was aggravated by the industrial asthma/ we will proceed under the handicapped laws in seeking reimbursement accordingly. Since you initially contacted Dr. Fowler for the examination/ I trust that you will contact him accordingly for the additional information.
