The following information was obtained verbally from Mr. Randall unless otherwise noted.
Process Description: Diesel Pro's & Performance (DPP) conducts general diesel repair and maintenance on diesel trucks, approximately 6 per week. Up until about 2 months prior to the inspection date, the company also conducted performance work on diesel vehicles including engine tuning and removal of aftertreatment emission control devices. However, DPP no longer conducts this type of work.

EPA toured the facility: Yes
Data Collected and Observations: During the inspection, there were a few boxes of aftermarket parts from brands including JAMO, MBRP, and Sinister, some of which contained aftertreatrnent delete hardware. Mr. Randall stated that these parts had been purchased prior to halting emission control device delete work and the business did not intend to use them.
Six diesel pickups with deleted exhaust aftertreatment and/or EGR systems were in the Diesel Pro's & Performance parking lot or maintenance shop during the inspection. Mr. Randall stated that, apart from his personal vehicle, the deletes were not conducted by DPP.

One invoice for a pickup in the shop during the time of inspection. The invoice lists
"Carn Sensor," "Crank Sensor," and "Pigtails". This vehicle appeared to have a straight
pipe in place of an aftertreatment catalyst. though Mr. Randall stated the pickup entered
his shop in this state,

Compliance Assistance: General compliance assistance regarding emission control device tampering.
Concerns: Mr. Yarbrough expressed concern regarding the sale and installation of afterrnarket defeat devices such as the JAMO and MBRP exhaust systems located in the shop. Mr. Randall stated that DDP no longer conducts this type of work.
