File At a meeting on 29 March in Piscataway, we agreed to use Bendix gas chromatographic analyzers for the following reasons: 1. Bendix can deliver the instruments in forty-five to sixty days (later conversations indicate that all fourteen units can be de livered within ninety days) as opposed to ninety to one-hundredand-twenty with Beckman. 2. Bendix has historically been involved with vinyl chloride analysis and monitoring^ and all field reports to date have been favorable. 3. Bendix instruments are specified at better minimum detectability than Beckman -- 1% full scale versus 2% full scale.
