I have reviewed the procedure with Jerry Janes. The USDA approval is predominately based on product ingredients. There is no certification required as to the manufacturing process or conditions. Specifically, the presence of regulated substances in the manufacturing location does not preclude the certification. In terms of meeting the spirit of the law, I feel the potential for any significant contamination of concern is insignificant, although it is something we should remain aware of and take reasonable steps to prevent. As you are aware, the USDA has orally approved our product and upon review of the written application sent by Jerry will formally inform us of approval. At the same time. Compression is seeking approval of the product made with our dry blend and their additive package.
