I think it is quite clear that wo can not expect people like Greenburg and Bloomfieia who aro among the leading experts in thi3 special field in tho country to work under the direction of Dr.Sappington, and the seme problem will ailso in other eases as. Dr.Sappington can not possibly expect to bo an export on all the very technical phasos of research which may come up. On the other hand, I see clearly the need for a good administrative tieup. I would like to nako the following suggestion, which, if approved, could be presented by Mr Sanford at the February meeting* It seems to me the proper way to proceed would be to enlarge Dr .Greenburg* a committee to include industrial end other representatives up to a total of about twenty (carefully avoiding Pitt fills), having Greenburg chairman of the committee and banford end nyself members with Eappington as the secretary of the committee.
