Dear Sir: I have your letter of November 4 concern ing the suit of an employee of Mr* Howard Miller who is said to have been injured from the effects of the burning of Ethyl Gasoline in an automobile, I have not received any further information from physicians in the matter and I am wondering what has occurred in this case. Your statement that the doctors say that he has paralysis agitans is of some interest since it would not be remark able if such a development occurred following ex posure to exhaust gases. Without having any direct information on the case, your statement leads me to suspect that your client*s employee was overcome by carbon monoxide and that his present symptoms may be due to the residual effects of carbon monoxide; Paralysis agitans is a condition which is associ ated with other causes, but it has been seen in carbon monoxide poisoning and this would seem a possible explanation.
