(2) Om deze doelstelling te bereiken, heeft de Commissie een Routekaart naar een concurrerende koolstofarme economie in 2050 vastgesteld, waarvan de Raad in zijn conclusies van 17 mei 2011 nota heeft genomen, en die van het Europees Parlement in zijn resolutie van 15 maart 2012 is onderschreven.
