Hi Tala and Carol,
I'm sure you have been wondering why I haven't gotten back to you sooner on this, and it's
because a few weeks ago EPRI did another restructuring and they eliminated 43 positions, and
unfortunately mine was one of them.
I was so looking forward to working with you both again, too, I'm grateful for the time we have
had!
They aren't really clear on who is going to be doing what I do yet, but I am leaving behind a
transition memo and contact lists, so they have your info when they are ready to reach out, and
I hope continue the collaboration.

so we can stay in touch, and I
hope our paths will cross again soon, who knows where I will land!!

Hi Tala,
I just wanted to touch base and first tell you congratulations on being named PDAS for FECM, I think it's wonderful! I've been talking with a few of the other folks on the team who are back there after our first round together, and it's so great to see so many of them back! I know there is a lot going on right now, and was holding off on reaching out until the pause and review phase is done, but wanted to get on your list of folks to meet with when it's appropriate, particularly with our senior leadership working on some of the Secretary's priorities, including dispatchable generation to strengthen grid reliability, and materials research among other things, to continue the great collaboration EPRI has had with DOE over the years. I also noticed you recently visited a few of the National Labs -- I didn't realize before I came to
EPRI that we have three Labs of our own here, and I visited them all last year and would love for you and your team to join us for a tour sometime. I'm always happy to hop on a quick call to see what you are interested in talking about to make sure I get the right people in the room, so thanks for taking the time, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again!
