Koln West Germany Attention: Dr. Peter Unrath Subject: Vinyl Chloride Safety Association Dear Dr. Unrath: Through recent correspondence, Mr. J. T. Barr of Air Products and Chemicals, Incorporated advised that Dyamit Nobel A.G. may be interested in joining the Vinyl Chloride Safety Association. Enclosed is a copy of the By-Laws for your consideration. Notice that the only requirement is for Dyamit Nobel A.G. to forward a letter to my attention stating your wishes to become a member as well as agreement to abide by the By-Laws, and designation of a permanent representative from Dyamit Nobel A.G. with title and complete mailing address for use in subsequent association communi cations. By sending a representative of your organization to our next meeting, this will then automatically add Dyamit Nobel A.G. to the list of members. Though our By-Laws call for one corresponding representative from each specific organization and one vote per organization at the meeting, each organization is welcome to send as many actual representatives as they wish although the question of accommodation has made it the practice to restrict the number of representatives to approximately three per organization. We welcome your representative and firm membership into our associ ation and look forward to your active participation. Our next meeting will be on May 15 and 16, 1975 at the Statler-Hilton Hotel, Arlington and Park Square, Boston, Massachusetts 02117, U.S.A. If your representative plans on attending, please contact the hotel direct for reserved accommodations. This meeting's agenda should be available in about two weeks. Each representative is encouraged to take his own notes and at his discretion, distribute them among his own organization. A master re cording of the entire proceedings is kept upon the advice of legal counsel, but these recordings are released only on loan to members. The purpose of this is to insure that we all feel free' to speak with total candor regarding our safety problems.
