I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out on behalf of Jeff Shellebarger, President of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company, to request a meeting with Secretary Ryan Zinke. Mr. Shellebarger will be in Washington on Friday, June 8th and Monday, June 11th and is available to meet. He would appreciate the opportunity to update the Secretary on Chevron's domestic footprint, including in the Gulf of Mexico and Permian Basin, discuss the Department's proposed National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program, as well as discuss the issue of financial assurance as it relates to offshore energy production.

Mr. Shellebarger manages Chevron's upstream operations in Canada and in the U.S., including our offshore assets in the Gulf of Mexico, oil and gas assets across the continent, as well as our natural gas from shale assets. He would like to discuss Chevron's presence in the Gulf of Mexico and the Permian Basin, the Department's proposed National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program, and financial assurance. Mr. Shellebarger would also be prepared to discuss issues on your agenda.
