The most current data are for 2014. These data are submitted by the facilities. The Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) captures a significant portion of toxic emissions from industrial facilities, but it does not cover all toxic chemicals or all industry sectors of the U.S. economy. According to their site, the TRI includes preliminary 2016 data, https://www.epa.gov/enviro/tri-search A good explanation of the TRI, as well as other available databases, can be found on this site: bttps://www. epa.gov/rsel/rsei-and-tri-emlssions-data The only real-time data we provide is through AirNow at: https://airnow. gov/ On Jul 31, 2017, at 1:53 PM, Theresa Clift <tclift(S)tnbweb.com> wrote: Thanks, Enesta. This is helpful, but I was actually looking for more updated data than 2014, and to track It by facilities. There was an EPA site i used to do this for Virginia facilities about a year ago, I just don't remember the URL. it could be this, but I don't have a username and password because I'm not an EPA employee... https://eis.epa.qov/eis-svstem-web is there a username/password that media can use? or is there another database that tracks emissions by facilities in real time? The data should come down and you can open in Excel to compare Allegheny county to the other counties in PA. If more counties are needed than just PA, select additional states in step 2.
