Their corrosion-resistant stainless steel working parts permit interchangeable use in both LP-Gas and Anhydrous Ammonia service. These valves are designed for installation in standard 2" NPT (A8434) or 3" NPT (A8436) couplings, on delivery trucks or transports. Their low profile above the coupling assures maximum protection against sheering or distortion. Wear-resistant 303 stainless steel stems and 17-4PH stain less steel stem bushings promote long, trouble-free service life. Additionally, the use of two different materials for stems and guides precludes the possibility of stem seizure, which may occur when similar materials are used. The 303 stainless steel springs are specifically designed to prevent stress crack ing in NH, service.
