LOSS OF ALL AC POWER (DIVISION - WIDE)

1. Insure DC motors - turning gear, jacking, cooling, and seal oil pumps - are running.
2. Insure Turbines are on turning gear.
3- Turn OFF all AC motor switches (at MCC) .
A. Insure that OCB's are open.
5- Shift Supervisor then should proceed to the electrical pole structure (east of MCC) and switch 2A00 volt back-up feed to L-23 (if not already in service). Open L-32 switch before closing L-23.
6. Once Substation No. 2 is re-energized and L-23 is re-closed at the Substation, the S & C switchgear will transfer automatically, and normal start-up may be initiated.
a. Inspect air inlets for damage due to compressor surge. Remove any broken transite.
b. Re-start necessary pumps - Cooling Tower, oil, AWC, Make-up Pump at Power-1, etc.
c. Establish HRU water levels. Open vents and drains on steam
lines. Accertain that 235# and 30it process steam lines are
ready for service.
d. Insure all ARU control START/STOP switches are in the STOP position.
