Ticket holders will have access to the ferry, pedestal observation deck and crown of the Statue of Liberty as well as the National Museum of Immigration at Ellis Island.
Procedure: Guests will pick up their tickets at 10am at the Statue Cruises crown ticket holder window inside Castle Clinton at Battery Park, Manhattan. Guests will show ID in exchange for tickets and will be issued a wrist band by Statue Cruises staff identifying them as crown ticket holders. Guests then proceed to the ticket holder queue to security screening and the next departing boats.
Upon Arrival at Liberty Island, guests will proceed to the monument entrance with their tickets. Only the following items are permitted inside the Statue of Liberty: one camera per person (no camera bags or cases); any necessary medication. The following common items much be secured in a locker: keys, writing instruments, purses, camera bags, camera cases, backpacks, shopping bags, any food and drinks and any item that may impede progress on the staircase. Children must be as least four feet tall to visit the crown.
A complimentary audio tour is offered on both Liberty and Ellis Island. All boats stop at Ellis Island before returning to NY. Boats depart every 20 minutes. Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island is open every day except December 25. In the event of closure due to weather or emergency conditions, tickets will be honored for the next available day. Guests should contact Elaine Hackett in the Office of the Secretary to re-book their visit.
