Third day in the office trying to play catch-up. She is available on Thursday from 9:30am to 12 noon. How much time do you need?
Thanks

I hope you are doing well. I would like to request a meeting with you the week of April 24. Dave
Whikehart, our Vice President of Environment, Safety and Corporate Affairs will be in town for meetings
and we would like to specifically discuss with you the point of obligation with the RFS. As you are
aware, we are one of the refiners who opposes such a move and I think we have a lot of good data and the
right person in town to make a compelling case for leaving the point of obligation in place with the
refiners and importers.
>>
Additionally, I wanted to share some data with you that will help supplement our future
conversations. Attached you will find a presentation with a variety of different data points. The first
part of this presentation goes into who exactly the RVOs were broken down for 2017 and even gets into
specific details on actual demand for products like EO, E15, and E85. Along with the RVOs, there are
some slides that show how RINs work and how they flow through the system. We originally pulled these
earlier in the month, but if it helpful, I can have Dave pull any day of the year and he can show you the
math always works out the same. And finally, we just have some high level points on the point of
obligation, as well as our letter to the EPA.
>>
I hope this information is helpful and that we are able to find a time that last week of April to
get together. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions or would like any more
information prior to our meeting.
Mike
