Mandy,
No problem. I know you are busy! My questions will focus on the top six issues that were identified as priorities for the Office of Air and Radiation: Clean Power Plan; MATS; ozone NAAQS; NSR; methane rule; and GHG standards for cars and trucks. I will touch on each of these, with a focus on what has been accomplished to date and what EPA still intends to do. In connection with these six topics, I may also mention specific items that are on the recently released Fall 2018 Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions for the air office.
I will allow time for audience questions and won't have control over what they ask -- although you may of course decline to answer anything. Depending on whether there is time after the audience asks questions (which is doubtful), I may also touch on regional transport rulemakings, regional haze, and other NAAQS issues.

I hope you're doing well. Can you please let me know if you have any changes to your bio for our Insights Event next Wednesday? I've copied the text below. Also, I'm happy to share a list of questions with you in advance if you'd like, or we can set a time to speak briefly. It's completely up to you.
As a reminder, you're scheduled to speak between 2:00 and 2:50. The format is simple: it is just you and me, and I will be interviewing you and allowing time for audience questions. If something comes up and you can't make it, can you please arrange to send someone in your place from the air office? Because the format is just the two of us, it would be problematic not to have anyone at all.

Mandy Gunasekara
Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Air and Radiation
Mandy joined the Environmental Protection Agency in March 2017 as a Senior Policy Advisor and previously served as Majority Counsel for Chairman Inhofe during the 114th Congress and for Chairman Barrasso during the 115th Congress on the United States Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. She led committee actions and policy development on Clean Air Act and climate change issues.
From 2012 to 2014, Mandy worked as Senior Legislative Counsel for Congressman Bob Latta (Ohio-05) where she developed the Congressman's legislative agenda on issues related to energy, environment, agriculture, immigration, labor, manufacturing and trade. She also led his committee agenda for the United States House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee.
Prior to joining Congressman Latta's office, Mandy worked for Ranking Member Mike Enzi on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee. While there, she worked on labor, employment and disability issues. In addition, Mandy spent two summers as a law clerk for the Energy and Commerce Committee Office of General Counsel.
A native Mississippian, Mandy earned a JD from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a BA from Mississippi College.
