"The Ram say A w a rd Program is one p a rt o f o u r o rganization's overall research strategy to encourage participatory investigations, accelerate new discoveries, and reduce barriers fo r entry into the challenging ye t rew arding fie ld o f ME/CFS research, " Dr. Zaher Nahle, SMCI's C hief S cientific O ffice r and VP fo r Research.
in April, the Solve ME/CFS initiative announced our request for proposals for the 2017 Ramsay Award Program. We received applications from 6 different countries. This investment in seed grants through an open competition, reflects our commitment to participatory research and inclusivity to advance the field of chronic fatigue syndrome research and amplify the work of our grantee researchers. Currently, the 2017 applications are being peer reviewed and we anticipate the final announcements of the 2017 Ramsay Award projects and partners in October.
