In-person - Dr. Goff to meet w/ a consortium of industrial users
Purpose/Background/Objective of Meeting: 30-minute in-person meeting with a group of industrial end users who are launching a consortium to advocate for nuclear solutions for industrial applications. ExxonMobil is one of the members . Other member companies include ConocoPhillips, Chevron, LyondellBasell, Nucor and Freeport McMoRan.
This newly constituted industry group is driven by energy end users from oil and gas, refining, chemical , petrochemical, mining and manufacturing segments. The group is called the Industrial Advanced Nuclear Consortium, and the aim of the group is to advocate for, advance, and enable nuclear heat and power for industrial applications. Prior to the public announcement of the consortium, the group would like to meet with you to provide information on the group's objectives and discuss how we can work collaboratively to deploy cost-competitive nuclear solutions for industrial applications.
