Location: Forrestal Building - 1000 Independence Avenue SW Washington, DC 20585 SecurityNisitor Badge Info: A REAL ID is required to enter the Forrestal Building. Please notify a security guard that you are a visitor, meeting with the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. The Security Guard will take you to the visitor desk and will process you for a temporary badge. I would allot approximately 15 minutes to get your visitor badge, but processing times can vary based on the volume of visitors for the day and your entry time. I wouldn't anticipate a Friday being too busy.
Meeting Point: From the visitor desk, taking a left should take you into the main building/near the large DOE seal (see reference photo below) and right should take you to the DOE museum area (great place to pass time, if needed!). Katie and Lara will meet you, Andrew, at the DOE seal located past building security after you get your visitor badge.
