EPA NSPS for GHG for New Coal Plants -- Rescheduled Public Hearing on January 30 in Washington, DC
Mandy We previously notified you that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking comment on, and will hold a public hearing on, its proposed NSPS for Greenhouse Gas Emissions from New, Modified, and Reconstructed Electric Generating Units. This proposed regulation would replace the prior administration's regulation for greenhouse gas emissions applying to new, modified, and reconstructed coal power plants. EPA has changed the date of the public hearing to January 30, 2019. The new deadline for registration is January 25, 2019. Click here for information. An extended federal government shutdown has the potential to further impact this and other federal regulatory activity and schedules.
