Secretary David Bernhardt Department of the Interior 1849 C Street NW Washington, D.C. 20240
Dear Secretary Bernhardt: As you may know, we are about to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. On the anniversary morning, thousands from our community will gather on the grounds of the Oklahoma City National Memorial to remember and to educate. We would be honored to have you as our guest. On April 19, 1995, there were 17 federal agencies in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building plus two private entities including the America's Kids Childcare Center and a Federal Employees Credit Union. We are inviting each of those agency heads to join us as well as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation who was actively involved in the role of justice surrounded by this case. We think it would be appropriate for you to join us as we highlight the public private partnership at this unique site during this special morning. As we look back and think forward on this 25th Anniversary we would love to have you join us on stage with other agency heads and look across the Reflecting Pool at a community that has been changed forever. We are very proud of our unique partnership with the National Park Service and think the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum stands as an example of how a community and the government should work together.
If I can answer any questions or you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to call me at 405.830.6114 or email at kw@okcnrn.orp,
We look forward to hearing from you.
