Dear Mr. Wheeler:
As you may know, the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation is a non-profit educational organization which focuses on the study of laws and regulations related to natural resource development and energy use. Members include major mining and oil and gas companies and utilities, as well as consulting firms, law firms, law schools, and law students.
The 40th Annual Institute will be held in Washington, D.C., on June 10 and 11, at the Westin City Center hotel. I am serving as the Program Chair this year. We invite you to be the keynote speaker on the morning of Monday, June 10, 2019, at approximately 8:45 a.m. The EMLF Annual Institute typically attracts over 200 attendees. Should you accept, we would hope that your presentation (about 30 minutes) would focus on new regulatory policies from U.S. EPA affecting the mining, oil, gas, pipeline and power generation sectors. We can discuss further details if you are able to accept this invitation.
