Re: EPA Inquiryre uranium mining
Garet,
We are unable to provide an interview for your documentary at this time.
On background: Here's a link that provides an overview of the clean-up at Navajo Nation: https://www.epa.gov/navaio-nation-uranium-cleanup
We also recommend that you reach out to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention re health effects of uranium mining on the Navajo Nation.

Hi Enesta, We would like to focus the interview on four main questions: 1. Having someone give a brief history of uranium mining on the Navajo Nation 2. Historical health effects of uranium mining 3. Summary of the historic and current efforts of the EPAs effort to clean up the abandoned uranium mines 4. Current health effects and effects on drinking water by abandoned uranium mines on the Navajo Nation
We're mainly looking for broad strokes in this interview in order to give some context as to the rest of the documentary. We can adapt to the schedule of the person who accepts the interview and would be able to do that anywhere between May 17th and May 20th. The interview would last approximately one hour.
Thank you for your time, Garet Bleir
