We have looked at the various items which you have requested for stocking and the following information is required in order for us to complete the analysis for stocking these items. If you do not have this information,' I would suggest you ask NED QA for the information since these are items they control.
1. Cloth,.Desiccants, Markers, Pencils, Chalk, Burlap, Cardboard, Tempilstiks and Polyethylene.
A. How many shops are ordering these items?
B. In what quantities are these items ordered?
C. Eow often are these items ordered?
D. Can any of these items be eliminated? Ex: List are 3 red pencils, will only one cover all?
2. Gaskets and Heat Resistant Material
A. I believe you are aware of the current problems we are facing with using asbestos products in the Barberton Works. Therefore, I request that the asbestos items be reviewed by F. W. McCollum of the Safety Office for elimination. If these items cannot be eliminated, then the Safety Office should advise and instruct the shop in the proper handling and using of these products.
