Subject: Follow up regarding Administrator Pruitt additive manufacturing site visit
Scanned from a Xerox Multifunction Printer copy.pdf
Ryan and Samantha--I hope you are both well. I am following up on the brief discussion with Administrator Pruitt regarding additive manufacturing in the conversation regarding the ICAO aircraft standards.
Attached is an invitation for Administrator Pruitt and his team to visit GE's industry leading additive manufacturing facility in October. We are confident this will be a valuable educational opportunity and something that transforms the way manufacturing is thought about in the future.
This could be scheduled as a day trip to Cincinnati. We propose October 4 but will be flexible around the Administrator's preferences.
Please let me know if I can answer any questions. We look forward to seeing you then. Thank you -- Roger

In the course of our discussions. Administrator Pruitt expressed strong interest in learning more about \
GE's industry leading additive manufacturing business and technology. Opened in Cincinnati in 2015,
the GE Additive Technology Center (ATC) is involved in. advancing additive manufacturing and design 7.
capability at GE Aviation and across GE's industrial businesses. The ATC has more than 200 engineers
and technicians working across numerous technologies that are rapidly transforming how we design and
manufacture our most complex products. To further encourage the next generation of engineers to '
embrace additive manufacturing, GE Additive is investing $10 million over the next five years in '
educational programs aimed at developing future additive talent.
.
We are confident that a visit to the ATC will be a transformative experience forthe.Administrator and
his team in understanding the future of manufacturing and ramifications for environmental regulation.
We would be honored to host Administrator Pruitt on October 4, or other elates that might be
...
convenient for the Administrator. Roger Martella, GE's EHS General Counsel, will follow up with you
regarding logistics.
