Subject: EAST COUNTY MAGAZINE
Hello,
I am a writer for East County Magazine in San Diego and I am working on a story about the beekeeping community. I'm just gathering some background information for the article and I was told to send my questions to this email.
1. How long has the EPA been aware of the bee die-off and what are some of the actions the agency have taken to help strengthen bee colonies.
2. Is the agency looking to reduce the use of neonicotinoids in The U.S. as some European nations did in the last few years?
3. I saw that the EPA has a new green infrastructure program designed to help protect pollinators? What does that mean and when can results be expected to be seen?
4d.oEinvegnathboouugththneeoVnaicrorotainoMiditse?aren't the only thing responsible for colony disorder. What is the EPA 5. What are the long-term effects on the environment if the agency's actions don't work?
Thank you for your time, Pabel
