Fall Policy Roundtable: When Agencies Weaponize Fake Science In October, Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA04) hosted our Fall Policy roundtable in Washington State. We were also joined by Rep. Russ Fulcher, (ID-01), and Western Caucus Staff. Our roundtable brought attention to the negative impact of shoddy, misguided federal government regulations on rural communities, and scrutinized the EPA's mistreatment of the dairy industry in the Pacific Northwest and across the country.

Our keynote guest was Mandy Gunasekara, EPA, Chief of Staff to the Administrator - we held a lively discussion with her after the keynote, as she addressed the latest EPA goals and achievements.
Our guest speakers panelists included Dan Wood, Executive Officer of the Washington State Dairy Federation and Rick Naerebout, Chief Executive Officer of the Idaho Dairymen's Association.

Field Tour: Rattlesnake Mountain Western Caucus members and locally elected officials met with USFWS for a tour of Rattlesnake Mountain. In 2015, the National Defense Authorization Act directed USFWS to provide public access - but has not done so yet. Rep. Newhouse leads the charge and discussion on why we must open up our public lands for public access.
