RESIDUAL VCM ANALYSIS TEXAS CITY VINYL RESIN PRODUCTION FEBRUARY, 1976 Author: R. M. Arnold / Supervisor: J G. F. Tacquard Date: March 1, 1976 Attached in Table I is a summary of the residual VCM levels in suspension vinyl resin products produced during the month of February. An overall increase in the residual VCM levels of QSAN-7 compared with previous reporting periods is attributed to the substitution of the Klucel 0 suspending agent with Cellosize WP-300, An approximately 35i decrease in residual VCM levels in the vinyl acetate copolymers VSJE-10 and VSKK-10 was observed as compared with production in December and January. Individual bin and blend data for each suspension resin produced in February are shown in Tables II-VII. Also shown in Tables yill-IX are residual VCM levels in non-solvent and solvent resins produced during February.
