VCM Analysis for Period 2 VCM Analysis - In Process Studies and End Product Period 2 In Process Studies I 1. Gunsmoke - Unsupported - Lawrence Starts with Vygen 110 which has 2l8 ppm VCM. End product has 7.6 VCM. Two air stations, Blender and Banbury, have borderline VCM content. 2. Expanded Upholstery - Lawrence No. 3 Calender. Starts with V-110 of 38*0 VCM and V-50 of 0.7End product has N.D. VCM but one air station, the Blender, has 4.5 ppm in air. No. 4 Calender. Starts with V-110 of 3*0 PI VCM. End product has N.D. VCM in solids and less than 0.15 in all air stations. 3* Wallcover - Columbus Starts with Pantasote V105 resin which has more than 1397 ppm VCM. End product has N.D. VCM. The processing stations have N.D. VCM in air. 4. 'Boltaron 6,500 - Newcomerstown Starts with V-65 which has very high VCM - 385 ppm. The solids at the various stations are high and end product has 41.5 PI* This run is very d i sturbin g and a far cry from a previous Boltaron 65OO run when the V-65 had 104 ppm and the end product N.D. VCM. However, this run passed the OSHA air samples satisfactorily which is the most important fact. 5. Type 1 FVC - Newcomerstown Starts with V-65 of l6.1 ppm VCM. CR Hi Temp. - Newcomerstown This chlorinated FVC started with a resin of low VCM. The solids and air at all stations had low or N.D. VCM. 7. Lithiographic Sheets Starts with Pantasote 220 resin which had 20.1 VCM. End product had 1.5 VCM and all air stations were very low. End Products The following end products had N.D. VCM: 1. Wallcovering 17 oz. 27" contract unexpanded - Columbus Made from Vygen 105 2. Samsonite, Denver - J>k oz. expanded luggage - Columbus Made from V110 3. Glastron Boats - 32 oz. expanded marine seating - Columbus Made from V110 U. Samsonite, Denver - 55 oz. expanded luggage on Broken Twill - Columbus Made from V11Q. See attached sheets.
