The NPC's lead for the briefing, Carol Lloyd, is now unavailable the week of July 8. The preferred timeframe for scheduling is the week of August 13 (already noted on the scheduling form), with a back-up of the week of July 15. Abby will update the form and re-submit it to you. We will look forward to feedback on possible meeting dates and times. I think I mentioned on Friday in an email that when Kate and I originally discussed this briefing, it was intended for both the Secretary and Kate. I didn't see a place on the form to note that information but thought it may be important to include. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your email. I have attached a Meeting Request form that is required by our Ethics office. Please fill out and return it at your earliest convenience, and I will pass it along. I will work with Kate to decide which week would be best for a meeting, and I will update you as soon as I'm able. Thanks again for reaching out. I'm finally following up on our conversation at the TRCP dinner regarding a briefing on the NPC Arctic report supplement. Carol Lloyd (ExxonMobil), chair of the NPC Coordinating Subcommittee, is available to travel to Washington for a briefing. Carol has offered either the week of July 8 or the week of August 12 for a briefing on the report. Do either of those weeks work for your schedule? Also, please advise if others from DOI would be included in the briefing? Depending on level of detail, the briefing would anticipate a 15 to 30-minute presentation and then discussion. The briefing can be organized to accommodate your schedule. Once we have a specific time, the NPC will reach out to a couple other members of the study team to participate. A copy of the new supplemental report was previously sent to your office. For quick reference, a copy of the report is available at this link. I'm copying Katie and the NPC can work directly with her on planning a time for the briefing.
