These results were given to our laboratory statistician, J. A. Gloeckner. His report in part is as follows: Ten lots were analyzed, each 4 times. Once each by Karl Fisher (VJGK), Aauatestor (Research), Karl Fisher (G.E. - Pittsfield) and Aquatestor (G.E. Hudson Falls). An analysis of variance was' performed on these results. It indicates that although the means of G.E. results is higher (r^2 ppm) than Monsanto's, the difference is not statistically significant. Monsanto - KF G.E. - KF Monsanto - AT G.E. - AT Average 28.1 28.7 29.4 31.2 (ppm) We wish to extend our appreciation to Al-Jenny at Pittsfield, Bill Haynes of our Corporate Research and your laboratory for helping us in this program. Very truly yours dy attach. cc: J. C. Bryant P. G. Benignus W. M. Haynes R. II. Munch J. R. Savage A. L. Jenny - G.E A. E. Leisy J. R. Anal. G. A. Hippe W. C. Engman^^gJ J. K. Grant H.
