As we promised during our meeting, I have included in this letter copies of our presentation slides. Please note that we have included in these slides the comments and requests made at the meeting. These include: 1. The toxicology program will include a bio-monitoring test protocol. We are reviewing this test protocol with the APME toxicology committee. 2. We are following up on the questions raised regarding alternatives and substitutes to the FPA we currently utilize in the manufacture of fluoropolymer resins. A presentation to the EPA on this matter has been scheduled. 3. We will work with the APME to coordinate appropriate contacts in Europe, including the EC and OECD. I hope that this information is sufficient for your needs as this time. If there are any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Society of Plastics Industry. We are committed to working with the EPA in this important matter. ----------- Allen Weidman Executive Director Fluoropolymer Manufacturers Group g|*k > g lu tW || I--1 1 A B usiness U nit of The Society of th e Plastics Industry, Inc 1801 K Street, N W , Suite 6 0 0 K W ashington, D C 2 00 06-1301 tel 2 0 2 .9 7 4 .5 2 3 3 / 4 fax 2 0 2 .2 9 3 .0 0 0 5 w w w .flu o ro p olym ers.org IV l a s n* I
