Mandy: Here are some data from the lEA and UNFCCC that might come in handy (both are credible sources). The first tab has lEA data with absolute reductions and % reductions since 2005 (with major countries highlighted in yellow). Scroll down and you will see two charts showing for the US, EU, China, India, Japan and Russia: absolute emissions from 2005 to 2017; and % change in emissions from a 2005 baseline (which is a bit better visually).
The other 3 tabs have the latest GHG (including and excluding LULUCF) and CO2 for Annex I countries if you are interested in these. They show that the EU and the USA have about the same overall reduction in GHGs since 2005, but the CO2 data show we are doing better than the EU (-860 vs. -790 MMTCOs).
