Hello, I hope you are well! I am reaching out as I wanted to introduce myself to you and congratulate you on your role at the Office of Clean Energy Development.
I recently took over a new role in our office and now serve as the head of hp's Federal Government Affairs team in DC. I know we recently had a meeting with you where we introduced you to our VP of Hydrogen Tomeka Mcleod. I know we thought that was a great engagement and productive meeting, so thank you for making time for us.
I understand that you might be interested in visiting one our Archaea renewable natural gas sites in Pennsylvania. We are the largest renewable natural gas producer and it's an exciting business at bp. I know you had some preliminary exchanges about visiting our site next Tuesday. Unfortunately, that timeframe will be difficult for us to pull together a site visit given the safety protocols we follow for these types of engagements. We also want to make sure we can get an Archaea business leader there as well to talk about the work on the ground.
We would welcome the opportunity to host you and anyone from DOE to learn more about that side of our business and share key issues we are facing. I'm including my colleague Nate Weiss who also serves on the federal affairs team and helps support our Archaea business. If you would like to share some dates that work in the coming weeks with us, we are more than happy to work on coordinating a visit.
Just let us know some dates that might work well for you and we'll go from there.
