HURRICANE PROCEDURES The purpose of this procedure is to define the organization, list the general precautions to be taken, and establish certain responsibilities for these precautions when a hurricane threatens the area. The procedure consists of four different parts: I. Outline of Organization and General Definition of Duties II. Hurricane Alert - Action to be Taken III. Plant Shutdown - Securement of Plant _ IV. Plant Startup I. OUTLINE OF ORGANIZATION AND GENERAL DEFINITION OF DUTIES A. Organization - The Hurricane Procedures will be part of the General Control Organization's responsibility.
