Shell Medical <>ss> LU Medical Department Deer Park Manufacturing Complex Shell Oil Company / Shell Chemical Company September 14, 1987 TO: SUBJECT: X-RAY 9-14-87 CHEST (PA): The heart size is normal. The lungs are free of confluent infiltrates and there is no evidence of pleural fluid or pneumothorax, (a small localized convexity has been previously described along the right diaphragm and could be a noncalcified plaque.\ This is again noted but is a little less pronounced than on some of the previous films. There is a tiny curvolinear density superimposed over the right pulmonary apex which might be a calcified pleural plaque or possibly a vascular plaque. No significant interval change is appreciated comparing films dating back to 7-17-80. Conclusion: 1. Chest unchanged since previous films. 2. A tiny curvolinear calcific density at the right pulmonary apex could conceivably be a calcified pleural plaque or a vascular plaque. 3. There is a small localized convexity along the right diaphragm which could be either a normal variation or a noncalcified plaque. MAM/ch ABS-055355 LAM 031962
