(conoco) Interoffice Communication To J. H. Brunson, LCVCM From w. M, Hicks, S&D Chemicals,Houston aw September 14, 1978 Subject EXPORT SHIPMENTS FROM THEVCM PLANT In response to your memo of September 8, 1978, I have carefully looked at the attached form and find that most of the data included in your attachment is already provided on the COEDS order form. It, therefore, seems this form is simply a duplication of efforts and will not contrib ute to more accurate information. The policy for dividing any over/under cargo liftings should be divided based on the percentage that each customer has ordered. EXAMPLE: Company A Company B Company C ORDERED MT 1500 (30%) 1500 (30%) 2000 (40%) TOTAL LOADED MT - ADJUST MENT (75) (75) (100) DISTRIBUTION OF LOAD QUAN 1425 1425 1900 TOTAL 5000 - 4750 -- 250 4750 Concerning the five questions at the bottom of your loading instruction form, we will notify you in writing and confirm by telephone who will stop the loading, and the necessary inspection and purging instructions. As for whether the vessel is a UNIGAS ship, or not, I do not understand the reason for this question. Hydroquinone should be added to all liftings by ship and our records indicate this policy has been in effect since the VCM plant was built. W. M. Hicks cc: R. E. Lehmkuhl R. D. Gamblin, LCCP John F.
