Rotuhda has just added a special vacuum cleaner to its equipment line, which is designed to remove hazardous asbestos dust fibers which result from certain brake and clutch repair operations. This unique vacuum and filter system has passed independent Environmental Lab Tests and is certified to comply with current OSHA regulations covering asbestos dust collection, filtration and disposal (when used according to in structions) .
To assist you in dealer solicitation, Rotunda has developed a special
1 promotional brochure (attached), which will be mailed to all Ford and Lincoln-Mereury dealers. An "Introductory Offer" price for orders placed on or before August 31, 1976, will allow dealers to purchase the vacuum (Rotunda model 34-0009, which includes 4 replacement
filters for a total of 5 monthB service) for $399* The normal Rotunda price (after August 31> 1976) will be $449, and the manufacturer's dealer net price is $499*80. Features and specifications for the vacuum cleaner are shown in Attachment I.
As an additional support element to stimulate dealer interest, price discounts of $40 - $60 from normal Rotunda prices on six portable fuel storage tankers are detailed in the brochure. These discounts are effective on orders placed between July 1 and August 31, 1976.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS ROTUNDA BRAKE AND CLUTCH VACUUM CLEANER
While OSHA approval is not granted by the U. S. Department of Labor for any equipment, dealers will be required to follow specific recommended procedures for the removal of asbestos dust fibers which result from cleaning brake drums, brake backing plates, brake and clutch assemblies. The following items are key features of the Rotunda model 34-0009 vacuum cleaner which should be considered by all dealers in their efforts to comply with OSHA regulations:
Rotunda's model 34-0009 has been tested and certified (by Clayton
Environmental Consultants, Inc.) to meet external leakage require*
ments specified by OSHA.
. Rotunda's model utilizes an industrial grade vacuum cleaner with
capacity and suction which meets with NIOSH (National Institute
for Occupational Safety and Health) recommended procedures.
. Rotunda's model includes a filter pack and respirator which meet
OSHA requirements.
. Rotunda's model includes attaching tools to break loose damp
material.
. Rotunda's model allows the operator a full view of the work area
for efficiency in cleaning.
. No special adaptor rings are required for different sized backing
plates.
