Scott, Hope things are going well over there. I can't imagine how hard it is w/ so few appointees. I've follow up w/ a meeting request with Acting Commissioner David Murillo (see note to his office below), as one of the action steps that was suggested at our meeting. I haven't heard back from them. Any chance you can weigh in that we're ok people to talk to?
Thanks a ton, and hang in there.
D.

I'm emailing to request a meeting w/ Acting Commissioner David Murillo on behalf
of our client Water Sage. We had a meeting w/ Deb Lawler, Scott Cameron, and others at DOI a few weeks ago to brief them on the Water Sage technology. Subsequently, Deb Lawler recommend that we meet w/ acting commissioner Murillo. The President of Water Sage Kelly Bennett will be in DC and available to meet anytime from 2pm on March 21st through mid-day on March 23rd.
Water Sage is the largest integrated water and land information platform in the country. We describe it essentially as a Google for water with a user friendly graphical interface that connects thousands of users to water rights, groundwater, streamflow, and land information in an intuitive, map-based research system. Water Sage makes deep knowledge accessible to the full spectrum of water stakeholders, from empowering basic research to enhancing professional workflows
With Water Sage, a user can easily understand water rights and water flow in western states, including California, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, Texas, and more. In California, water sage can help policy makers and 's world-renowned water management system. Overall, water sage helps users gain insight into complex land and water resources with intuitive and effective search features and geographic visualizations.
We would like to come in an explain more about the product and the benefits we can provide users ...and why BOR employees out west want to use the system and what are the challenges that are keeping them from doing so. In addition, we've been recommended to include David Palumbo in the briefing as well.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in helping set up a meeting. I look forward to talking with you shortly.
