This week, I was notified that Dr Irons had terminated the contract between the University of Colorado and Fudan University. I am attaching the email that Dr Irons sent to Dr Fu Hua and also a letter that Dr Fu Hua sent to me. Later today, you should receive a faxed copy of the contract Russ, I will fax to you shortly, so that you can send to BHRC members. This will be the subject of the telecon that API is arranging for next week.

Dear Professor Fu Hua, As you know, the Univ of Colorado contract with the Fudan School of Public Health ends 12/31/06 and will not be renewed. Our records show that you should have a balance of $475,240 that has already been paid to you that you have not spent that can be used to pay for 4th quarter expenses. Please send me an accounting of 4th quarter expenses as soon as possible. I understand that, according to the agreement with Fudan University, the balance of any remaining funds should be transferred to JCML at IBS. Funds to pay for JCML staff salaries for January will be transferred directly to IBS. Best wishes, Richard
