CHEMICAL MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION May 3, 1982 TO: Vinyl Chloride Research Coordinators FROM: Carol Stack RE: Meeting Date A meeting of the Vinyl Chloride Research Coordinators will be held on May 26, 1982, at 9:00 A.M. in CMA's Lobby Con ference Room. By this time, EHA will have prepared rosters (study records) on individuals included in the vinyl chloride epidemiology study. These rosters will be sent to the study plants with a request for additional information. It is vital that the industry cooperate, to the extent possible, with the contractor at this stage of the study. We must be able to identify a significant portion of the individ uals in the original study and provide information on them in order to move into Phase II of the update. Dr. Otto Wong of EHA will be present at the May 26 meet ing to discuss the contractor's present requirements. As a minimum, EHA will ask that the companies provide a contact per son within each plant and/or company. In order to address the special needs of the epidemiology program. Dr, Torkelson has reconstituted the Vinyl Chloride Research Coordinators. A list of members is attached. I look forward to meeting with all of you on the 26th.
