Hi Leila,
I wanted to follow-up on the request for a meeting between Mr. Shellebarger and Secretary Zinke sometime in September. As mentioned, if the dates provided do not work well for the Secretary, we're more than happy to look into additional dates for a meeting--to take place in Washington, Houston, or New Orleans.
Thanks again and have a great evening, Shawn

The Honorable Ryan Zinke Secretary of the Interior U.S. Department of the Interior 1849 C Street NW Washington, DC 20240
Dear Secretary Zinke:
Following up on his meeting with you on March 21st, I am writing to request a meeting for Jeff Shellebarger, President of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company, during one of his upcoming visits to Washington, DC. As you and your team may recall, Mr. Shellebarger manages Chevron's upstream operations in Canada and in the U.S., including our offshore assets in the Gulf of Mexico, oil and gas assets across the continent, as well as our natural gas from shale assets. He would like to discuss regulatory reform in our sector and permitting processes. We would also be prepared to discuss issues on your agenda.
Mr. Shellebarger has several windows of availability to meet with you in Washington next month, including on September 6th and September 26th-27th. His schedule is otherwise flexible--we are happy to work with your office to find another mutually beneficial time on your calendar next month. Additionally, Mr. Shellebarger is happy to invite you for a meeting at Chevron's offices in Houston, TX or New Orleans, LA, should that align well with your upcoming travel schedule.
Mr. Shawn Rusterholz will be in contact with your office to schedule a meeting and can be reached at (202) 408-5837 or srusterholz@chevron.com. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.
Sincerely,
Chevron Government Affairs 600 13th Street, NW Suite 600, Washington, DC 20005
