All of the former provisions establishing 0.1 fibers per cubic centimeter of air as a medical surveillance action level were retained, however, a new section was added to provide a method of determining significant past exposures. This new directive, CPL2-21A, was reprinted in the BNA Occupational Safety and Health Reporter on March 12, 1981, on page 1325.
