I hope this email find you well. I don't think I've seen you since we were riding an airboat on the Great Salt Lake. That was the most fun thing I did that year, but I'll admit now that I was much more afraid we were going to flip over than I led on. I'm wanted to reach out to congratulate you on the new gig and extend an invitation to present remarks during the 3rd Annual Critical Minerals Summit we are hosting at US Chamber HQ (1615 H Street NW) on Wednesday, April 9th from 9:30am-12:30pm. Given the outsized role DOE played in critical minerals during the previous administration, I know people are looking to hear from the agency on what we can expect from the agency during Trump 2.0 and what role EERE can play in advancing mining and mineral processing technology. I am attaching a copy of the current agenda. If you are available, we were hoping you would be able to speak for 10-15 minutes on the challenges facing the critical mineral supply chain, the impacts to the supply chain on clean energy development, and what DOE/EERE can do to stabilize and advance the supply chain. Confirmed speakers so far include Rep. Wittman (R-VA), Rep. Stevens (D-MI) and Rep. Stauber (R-MN). We are at -150 RSVPs so far and the audience is made up of a wide range of stakeholders representing industries throughout the entire critical mineral supply chain as well as Agency and Hill staff. Please let me know if you have any questions- I am always happy to jump on a call to discuss details!
