Also, we had discussed the potential to have the Secretary as our Keynote Speaker at our Annual Meeting Dec 5-7 in Spokane, WA where 2000 mining industry professionals will be gathering. If this remains a possibility, please let me know the appropriate protocols for a proper invitation.

The convention is 1700-2000 attendees from all over the US/Canada with hardrock (no coal) mining interests, the vast majority on BLM lands and with USFW concerns.

The Sec. would be addressing the luncheon on 500+ attendees as a welcome and an opportunity to share his vision for public land access and mineral development. The gathered audience shares an appreciation for the Sec and his already executed vision. No.
The American Exploration & Mining Association (AEMA) is a 123-year old, 2,000-member national association representing the minerals industry with members residing in 42 U.S. states, seven Canadian provinces or territories, and 8 other countries. AEMA is the recognized national voice for exploration, the junior mining sector, and maintaining access to public lands, and represents the entire mining life cycle.

No candidates. AEMA is a 501(c)6 organization who employs federal lobbyists. AEMA does not have a PAC nor make political contributions.
The convention will have 60+ corporate financial sponsors from mining companies, law firms, suppliers and consultants. The luncheon itself will have 1-2 company sponsors TBD. AEMA is the sole organization planning and executing the event AEMA represents 2000 members, many of whom have active mining claims on DOI lands. AEMA has no direct relationships with the agency. AEMA is a party to litigation regarding Greatersage Grouse and AZ mineral withdrawals. See above

Not for the same luncheon as the Secretary. He will be the sole speaker. AEMA will conduct some light business before or after the Secretary's remarks.

He would be welcome to join a head table (not on stage) to eat lunch with AEMA leadership.
Share his vision for public lands access and natural resources. Permit reform efforts. Species concerns. The audience is very well versed and supportive of the Secretary's actions to this date in these areas.
What is the desired format of his remarks (will he be delivering the keynote, sharing the stage, a panel, etc.)?
The Secretary will be the sole speaker on a stage with podium. AEMA would present him with a small token of recognition after speaking. (Of nominal value, i.e. a plaque). Q&A is at the discretion of the Secretary.
