Dear Acting Administrator Wheeler:
On behalf of the members of the Renewable Fuels Association, I would like to invite you to speak at the 24th Annual National Ethanol Conference: Powered with Renewed Energy. The conference will be held February 11-13, 2019 at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
The National Ethanol Conference (NEC) is the most widely attended executive level conference for the ethanol industry. Last year, more than 1,000 industry leaders representing 38 states, the District of Columbia, and 14 countries attended. These professionals represent ethanol and petroleum industries; agriculture; fuel marketers and blenders; transportation; public policy makers; environment and energy; finance and brokers; industry suppliers; academic and research institutions; and consumer and environmental advocates.
The NEC would provide a forum for you to address the Agency's implementation of the RFS program, including the role of small refinery exemptions and your outlook for addressing the impact those exemptions are having on domestic renewable fuel demand. The audience would also greatly appreciate an update on the Administration's commitment to expanding year-round E15 use.
